NC Certified Peer Support Specialists with 2+ years actual work experience

Experience required:
- NC Certification as a Peer Specialist
- Experience in crisis intervention
- Familiarity with systems navigation/resources within the mental health field
- Strong crisis management skills
- Ability to apply motivational interviewing techniques effectively
- Experience in mentoring individuals towards recovery
Requirements include:
NC Certified Peer Support Specialist current certification
Clean DMV and criminal background check, clean NC Healthcare Registry check (pre-hire job offer)
Ability to work routine business hours M-F
Ability to work online for billing software, scan/email, and have open voicemail for prompt communication
Meet with Program Supervisor once/month in person or as needed
Provide trainings required on hire/start date - NC PSS certificate, NCI, HIPAA/Confidentiality, PSS Service Definition/Scope/Clinical Coverage Policy training, Documentation Training, 3 hours of new Code of Ethics training and 10 hours of annual training/refreshers
Individual vehicle and valid NC Driver's license/liability policy
Copy of Social Security Card and NC Driver's license for I-9 verification and criminal background check with completed sign application for employment if screened for job
Valid and agency-only use password protected secured email and computer for payroll, billing, and agency communications; ability to SCAN and PRINT
100% contractor work, self-referral cases encouraged with marketing reimbursement, pay based on experience
Free refresher online trainings for recertification needs annually
