Job Summary:

We are seeking a (NCCPSS) Certified Peer Support Specialist w/ certificate, to join our team. The Support Specialist will provide assistance and guidance to individuals in need, focusing on areas such as social work, crisis intervention, and mental health counseling.

Duties:

- Conduct motivational interviewing sessions with clients to assess needs and goals

- Provide crisis management and intervention services in urgent situations

- Offer addiction counseling and mental health support to individuals

- Mentor clients on coping strategies and life skills development

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive support plans

- Utilize behavioral health techniques to address client needs

- Implement systems for tracking client progress and outcomes

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, or related fields

- Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques and addiction counseling principles

- Strong understanding of mental health counseling practices

- Ability to mentor and support individuals facing challenges

- Familiarity with systems for managing client information
