We are excited to announce openings for Peer Support Specialist positions with Trinity Wellness and Community Care (TWCC). We truly appreciate your interest in becoming part of our team and we are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting others on their journey to recovery and wellness. Your qualifications and passion for delivering quality care in alignment with Medicaid guidelines impressed us, and we are excited about the possibility of  having you on board.

 

Position: Peer Support Specialist

Locations: Winston-Salem, Burlington, and Monroe, NC

As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support, encouragement, and resources to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Your lived experience and empathy will be invaluable in helping others navigate their recovery journey.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one peer support and mentoring

• Facilitate peer support groups

• Assist individuals in developing recovery plans

• Connect individuals with community resources and services

• Promote a supportive and non-judgmental environment

 

Qualifications:

• Lived experience with mental health or substance use challenges

• Certification as a Peer Support Specialist (or willingness to obtain certification)

• Strong communication and active listening skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team

• Commitment to promoting recovery and wellness
