Job Description: Administrative Peer Support Specialist

We are looking for a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team. The Peer Specialist is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the peer support program. They will be responsible for assisting peers in need, providing peer support and assistance, and working with peer support coordinators to ensure that all peer support programs are working smoothly and effectively. This position is specifically for an Administrative Peer Support Position.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide peer support and assistance to individuals in need.
  • Provide peer support to individuals enrolled in our program.
  • Ensure that all peer support programs are working smoothly and effectively.
  • Assist with the development of new programs to increase efficiency of the program.
  • Evaluate and implement new program changes as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Light office upkeep, office appearance
  • Inventory upkeep
  • Answering phones
  • Responding to emails
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Office supply upkeep and tracking
  • Website management
  • Assist Office Manager, Executive director, and all other leadership positions.
  • Note taking

Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • Peer Support Certification

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights

 

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hendersonville, NC 28739: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:
