We are looking for part-time contractor who can work independently to support individuals at our "Refuge" house who are coming from area Emergency Departments and other agencies. This job includes welcoming and hosting an individual (includes offering meals, shower, laundry, and sleep)  and assisting to link the person to the Peer Center and other resources they may need once they have rested.  Training will be provided.  This role sometimes involves going to one of the hospitals to pick up an individual who has been referred by hospital staff.  The Refuge is across the street from the Peer Center and within 10 minutes from area hospitals.  Emotional CPR or Intentional Peer Support helpful.  Familiarity with Forsyth County (Winston-Salem area) resources is a plus.
