Description
This curriculum is the first of its kind in the state of North Carolina with the primary focus being on recovery from substance use disorders. There is also a significant amount of material in the curriculum which will cover co-occurring mental health conditions and its connection to substance use disorders.
We believe those who take this training will be better able to be of service as Peer Support Specialists to those struggling with substance use disorders and will be more aware of their own needs for selfcare and support.
