Objective: Housing for New Hope connects our neighbors to housing and hope. The Peer Support

Specialist will serve as a key member of the Supportive Housing team and will bring a commitment to

providing excellent supportive services to clients during their transition from homelessness to

permanent housing. The Peer Support Specialist will engage in highly individualized services in the

community and promote the self-determination and decision-making abilities to homeless individuals

This position is based at the UNC Horizons office in Carrboro. The primary purpose of this position is to provide group treatment services to the women in the SACOT and SAIOP programs in Carrboro, and to provide case management and individual support services in the Perinatal Program and outpatient programs. We are looking for someone who enjoys leading treatment groups, and would love to find someone who is a PSS. Job Description: Administrative Peer Support Specialist

We are looking for a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team. The Peer Specialist is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the peer support program. They will be responsible for assisting peers in need, providing peer support and assistance, and working with peer support coordinators to ensure that all peer support programs are working smoothly and effectively. This position is specifically for an Administrative Peer Support Position.
